Here is where you will find my five part video series called GrAACe Filled AAC at Home. The series shares some of the most important things we’ve learned over our six years as an AAC family. Each episode includes a discussion guide for download that will benefit both families and speech language pathologists.

The Member Area also includes monthly AAC modeling guides that match a Project Core Universal Core Word with a holiday for each day of the month. The guide has suggestions for 10-15 minute activities to celebrate the holiday using common household items and suggested modeling phrases of 1-5 word length. All the web links for videos, resources, and printed items are included in the guide. New guides will be added seven days prior to the start of each month. While this resource has one calendar page per month that is dated for 2022, it could be used any year. January 2022’s modeling guide is available for preview.

The above two resources are the bulk of content currently available in the member area. However, it also holds a small collection of blog style posts about teaching an AAC user to read and write. Our setting is at home. The research I base my teaching in and the strategies I use transfers easily to the classroom, making the member area valuable to both home and school based educators. This collection may or may not grow in the future.

GrAACe Filled AAC at Home video series, discussion guides, the holiday AAC modeling guides, and the growing library of literacy posts can be accessed through a one time fee. Membership fees are not refundable. Canceling will discontinue access to the membership content immediately. Joining and canceling immediately will not provide a refund.
